My Experience:

There are a lot of different shades and finishes for all tastes within the Color Sensational lipstick range, from Nudes to Vivids to dark Bold colors and from glossy to Mattes. Usually matte lipsticks are considered to be drying, flaky on the lip and they suck out the life of your lips but this isn’t the case with these Maybelline Matte Lipsticks. I love wearing red lipsticks so without any doubt I had to get my hands on this beautiful bold red shade “ 970 Daring Ruby ”. This lipstick is very rich and pigmented in color. It’s matte but the texture is creamy and non-drying on the lips. Glides on like a dream without pulling or dragging my lips. I wore this lipstick throughout the day and didn’t feel any dryness or stiffness on my lips. The lipstick stays on for about 6-7 hours and doesn’t bleed out. The scent is sweet but can’t feel it once you have applied it on your lip. The packaging of these lipsticks is pretty nice too, translucent matte brown cases with the color matched label on the bottom. One more thing if you are looking for Mac Russian Red Lipstick dupe then this is it.

Overall:

I love Maybelline’s lipstick formulation, excellent colour pay off and budget-friendly. Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte’s are the best lipsticks available in drugstore.
