I am a big fan of Real Techniques makeup tools and mostly use their brushes in my daily makeup routine. I have never tried Beauty Blender so I can’t tell you if it’s a dupe or not. I have been using Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge for years and can honestly say that haven’t felt the need to try something less. The sponge is designed to be used wet or dry but I personally like using it wet. It gets double in size when you wet it. It’s quite bouncy and not stiff.
